Vida Essel-LampteyThe Special Prosecutor, Mr Kissi Agyebeng has made his choice as far as his preference for Ghanaian music is concerned.
According to him, among the two legendary Ghanaian musicians, Mr Charles Kojo Fosu affectionately called Daddy Lumba and Kojo Antwi, also known as “Mr. Music Man, he would gladly choose the former over the latter.
He said even though Kojo Antwi hails from his hometown, Kwahu in the Eastern Region, he would go for Daddy Lumba before him.
Mr Kissi Agyebeng was speaking on Starr Chat on Starr FM on Wednesday, September 29 monitored by GhanaPlus.com.
“Kojo Antwi is from my hometown but I will go for Daddy Lumba, Kojo Antwi will be second. I can’t sing many of Kojo Antwi song but Daddy Lumba 90%. Dady Lumba, I think he captures all aspect of life, if it is gospel, he is hitting it, if it love, he is hitting it, if it is advice, if it funeral, he is hitting,” he said.
He mentioned his preference for the ‘Mpempem Do Me’ hit maker was due to the fact that his songs cut across all aspect of social life adding his 1990’s hit track ‘Theresa’ was his all time favourite.
